Stitching operator wanted in Alexander County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Alexander County, Illinois. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams 3+ years on the tools preferred.
