Lift technician — Shropshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift technician in Shropshire, England. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work You will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer £15 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
