Gas metal arc welder — Eagle County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Eagle County, Colorado. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
