Ladle pourer • Baker County, Florida

Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Baker County, Florida. On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $5,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
