Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Jerome County, Idaho. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Full-time, day shift.
