Immediate opening: we are hiring a sausage maker in Adams County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry On a typical shift you will mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date.
