Vacancy available: stitching operator (Ekiti State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Ise/Orun, Ekiti State. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Day to day you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
