Immediate opening: argon welder (Wisconsin)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Pepin County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Full-time with occasional weekends.
