Urgent requirement: structural MIG welder (Delta State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Ika South, Delta State. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
