Scaffolder — Horry County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolder in Horry County, South Carolina. The job is at a shipyard. Requirements: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Able to read basic scaffold drawings Day-to-day duties: • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
