Heavy equipment operator — Citrus County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Citrus County, Florida. Your main tasks: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up What we are looking for: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
