Core maker wanted in Wyoming County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills Rotating shifts. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
