Join our team: press setter operator (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press setter operator in Coffee County, Georgia. You will be based on the press shop floor. You will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; record output and downtime on the production sheet. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
