Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Darlington, England. The role involves erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner. What we are looking for: • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Able to read basic scaffold drawings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
