Your main tasks: • Replace brake pads, discs and callipers • Trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems • Carry out suspension and steering repairs • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries • Replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair You should have: • Confident using diagnostic scan tools • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding 3+ years on the tools preferred.
