Argon arc welder — Posey County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Posey County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols The role involves read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
