Lathe programmer-operator — DeSoto County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in DeSoto County, Florida. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed 1+ years on the tools preferred.
