Your main tasks: • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine 2+ years on the tools preferred.
