Single needle operator wanted in Worcester County

Join our team: we are hiring a single needle operator in Worcester County, Massachusetts. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Six days a week, one day off.
