Tower crane operator • Henry County, Tennessee

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Henry County, Tennessee. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. Day to day you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
