Stitching operator — Caerphilly County Borough

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Caerphilly County Borough, Wales. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around £2,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
