Fettler — Ramsey County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Ramsey County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
