Sheet metal press operator — Crenshaw County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Crenshaw County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy press shop. You will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; record output and downtime on the production sheet; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
