Plant operator — Irwin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Irwin County, Georgia. You will be based at a landfill site. You should have: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
