Refrigeration field service technician — Atchison County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Atchison County, Kansas. The job is in an HVAC service company. What we are looking for: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold The role involves: • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter Part-time with flexible hours.
