Fabricator-welder — Itawamba County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Itawamba County, Mississippi. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
