We are recruiting: production line inspector (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production line inspector in Jasper County, Iowa. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Day to day you will raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
