Immediate opening: concrete pump mate (Wales)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Neath Port Talbot, Wales. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works The role involves cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength.
