We are recruiting: elevator repair technician (Alaska)

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Denali Borough, Alaska. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. You will top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
