Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Oscoda County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Full-time, day shift. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
