Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Sioux County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
