Bakery assistant • Carroll County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Carroll County, Virginia. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. You will rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; score the top of loaves before baking; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; load and unload the deck oven with a peel. What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 2+ years on the tools preferred.
