Press operator — Hanover County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Hanover County, Virginia. You will work on the press shop floor. You will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses 3+ years on the tools preferred.
