RCC mason — Swain County

Now hiring: we are hiring a RCC mason in Swain County, North Carolina. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. Day-to-day duties: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Full-time, day shift. We offer $23 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
