Ironing operator — Loving County

Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Loving County, Texas. You will work at a textile finishing unit. On a typical shift you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Six days a week, one day off.
