HGV driver — Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HGV driver in Jackson County, Florida. Your main tasks: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card 1+ years on the tools preferred.
