Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Phillips County, Arkansas. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; write and edit G-code programs at the control; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; load and index turning tools in the turret; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 3+ years on the tools preferred.
