Assembly operator wanted in Buchanan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an assembly operator in Buchanan County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy assembly plant. Requirements: • Punctual with reliable attendance • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred • Good hand-eye coordination and steady fingers for small parts Day to day you will tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench; carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts; follow the work instruction sheet for each station; fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor; clean down the workstation and keep it to 5S standard. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
