Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazier in Lee County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Rotating shifts.
