Join our team: we are hiring a lathe operator in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at an injection moulding unit. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
