Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in North Yorkshire, England. The role involves: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Rotating shifts.
