Elevator repair technician — Caldwell Parish

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy lift company. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
