Now hiring: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Logan County, Kentucky. The job is at an automotive components factory. On a typical shift you will reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow. Requirements: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects Full-time, day shift. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
