Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE You will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp.
