Bodyshop painter — Calhoun County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Calhoun County, Florida. The job is in an automotive paint and panel workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE On a typical shift you will wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
