Now hiring: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Multnomah County, Oregon. You will be based at a reinforced concrete building site. What we are looking for: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts On the job you will handle: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
