Brickwork mason • San Miguel County, New Mexico

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in San Miguel County, New Mexico. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. Day to day you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
