Now hiring: we are hiring a commis chef in McDonough County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases Requirements: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Part-time with flexible hours.
