Restoration bricklayer — Denbighshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Denbighshire, Wales. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Day to day you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. £2,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
