Excavator operator — DeSoto County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in DeSoto County, Mississippi. Day-to-day duties: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
